Hollander and Frias compete at NCAA championships
By Laura Hollander’s standards, anything but a top-10 finish is a bit out of the ordinary.
The sophomore cross-country runner finished 75th at the NCAA Championships Saturday, a far cry from her ninth-place finish a year ago. The top 40 runners are named All-Americans, meaning Hollander won’t receive the honor as she did in 2012.
Hollander, Frias selected for cross-country national championships
After posting top-10 finishes at the NCAA West Regional this past weekend, Cal Poly cross-country runners sophomore Laura Hollander and senior Chris Frias were selected to compete at the NCAA Championships in Terre Haute, Ind. on Nov. 23.
