Cal Poly’s Moot Court invites students to compete on their team

Cal Poly Moot Court welcomes students interested in pre-law and oral advocacy to join them for the 2024-2025 academic year. Combining constitutional law with Supreme Court cases, Moot Court offers students interested in law school or learning more about real-world issues an ideal platform. 

The club, currently in its second year, argues cases ranging from privacy law to contraceptives based on Supreme Court precedent.

A slice of life: Inside the human anatomy lab at Cal Poly

When kinesiology junior Luke Hansen walked into the first day of his Human Anatomy and Physiology I class (BIO 231), he expected it to be like any other science class he had taken at Cal Poly. Then, the professor began reading the syllabus. Hansen would soon be hands-deep in a human cadaver, and a few quarters later, dissecting a human neck to remove the whole head.
